Massive Attack vuelven con su primer lanzamiento en cuatro años. El EP Eutopia es un trabajo audiovisual inspirado en el libro Utopía de Tomás Moro, del siglo XVI. Viene con colaboraciones vocales de Algiers, Saul Williams y Young Fathers, así como figuras políticas como Christiana Figueres, que escribió El acuerdo de París sobre el Clima de Naciones Unidas; el teórico sobre la renta básica universal Guy Standing y Gabriel Zucman, un profesor que defiende los impuestos para ricos en Estados Unidos.
Las canciones y sus respectivos vídeos han sido creados durante el confinamiento y claman por un cambio global. Dirige el artista especializado en Inteligencia Artificial Mario Klingemann.
Massive Attack dicen: “Lockdown exposed the best aspects and worst flaws of humanity. That period of uncertainty and anxiety forced us to meditate on the obvious need to change the damaging systems we live by. By working with three experts, we’ve created a sonic and visual dialogue around these global, structural issues; taking the form of climate emergency, tax haven extraction and Universal Basic Income”.
